The article presents the results of experimental design work carried out in LLC "Design and Technological Center of Agricultural Engineering" (LLC "DTCAE") on the adaptation of the track of serial cotton-growing universal-row tractors for the processing of cotton crops with a row spacing of 76 cm. The main methods of adjusting the tractor track are given and the technical solution adopted for changing the rear axle semi-axes and casings for them in order to adapt the running system of the TTZ-831 and TTZ-831LS tractors to 76 cm row spacing is described. Testing in economic conditions of tractors equipped with developed interchangeable axles and casings, when processing crops with a row spacing of 76 cm, showed their full compliance with the requirements. At the same time, there was no dangerous convergence of tractor elements and agricultural machines and implements aggregated with it.
