Abstract

Practical studies were conducted using the system of model solutions consisting of n-hexane and benzene in order to study the laws of extractive distillation of aromatic hydrocarbons from the composition of pyrolysis condensate. The chemical composition of the pyrolysis distillate was studied in a GC-MS laboratory analytical setup, and the obtained results are presented in Table 1 [1]. Based on the data presented in the table, a mixture of n-hexane 35% and benzene 65% - model system was used to model the extraction process, with a composition similar to that of the pyrolysis distillate.
